An interesting video from Jay Leno's Garage - a new "from the ground up" mobility van, built in AM General's plant as a clean sheet of paper design. Two immediate advantages are apparent: It's not a chopped-up production van that often compromises structural integrity of the vehicle, and because it is a purpose-built vehicle rather than a conversion, it comes in at a considerably lower price point.

Thanks for posting the info on the MV-1. If my wife ever gets to the point that she can't transfer out of her wheelchair into a car, that is the type of vehicle I'll need. It's much better than the conversion vehicles out there. It looks like a Honda Element on steroids.
