Is this how you tow it?

should be fine. Its a RWD platform. I would also prefer to have the car on a flat bed toprotect the nose if the driver goes up or down a driveway but even that is that likely

The Q7, being a AWD can't be towed except on a flatbed while the E-coupe can be towed conventionally with the RWD axle off the ground. Given the combination of vehicles, both are being hauled properly.

Most cars even that E-Class are probably recommended by the owners manual to use a flatbed, with the current list of techno electronics hooked up to all 4 wheels, some undue stress is probably being applied, I would be willing to bet a switch need to be turned off before towing like that, but they usually are not
What you don't know does not hurt you but a lot of damage is done by improper towing, watch some of the car repo shows, they tow cars out of driveways wrong all the time

Yeah when my mom's CLK350 broke down, the tow guy tried towing it from the back and ended up scraping the shxt out the front bumper out of my driveway. It does say that flatbed transport is recommended.

when you use a towing service like the one Lexus provides for 4 years, can you even request a flatbed? Seems to me they would just ignore you because I assume flatbed is either more expensive or less easily found.
how would an electronically controlled AWD work like on the new RXs and Rav4s, and even the hybrid awd RX? Can still be towed by front wheels I assume

I think if you tow a hybrid, you might heat up the electric motors causing damage cause the cooling system is not functioning, I read that on an RV site
