What's the problem? So she CAREFULLY parked a $200,000 car, didn't hit ANYTHING, and was 2" from the curb?!? So she didn't make it on the first try, so what?!? If I had that car, I would be just as cautious. I say +1 to parking without an incident!

need that many people around to help and guide you in? even have to get opinions from other people on how and where to turn the wheel? seriously, you think this is normal for a good driver???

That's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. If I owned that car and I was that bad at parallel parking, I would just valet it.

I'm not sure how wide Ferrari's are, but she was just inches from the curb and still almost over the line. Not necessarily Ferrari friendly parking spots.

It was not too bad a job, especially in those shoes. How do gals drive in heels like that.

Unless she hit the car behind her (which we didn't actually see), then that wasn't a horrible parking job, she at least had the patience to take directions, get out, take a look and fix her position. She actually exceeded my expectations of her.

I call it a parking success.

So the other day my wife is wearing sandals and tells me I have to drive. I ask why and she said "cause I don't drive in flat shoes." No joke.

Anyway, the video is far from a "fail" IMO. I sure as hell wouldn't have the nerve to pack my Ferrari (if I had one) in such a tight spot. I'd be way too paranoid!

that was nothing. There was no damage done at all. These bumpers are designed to be able to be tapped. Even on a 200k Ferrari

I can't drive my car in flip-flops. I'd rather drive barefoot than drive a 3 pedal car with flip flops. The problem is when you go to use the clutch you step on the clutch pedal a lot more than you would for brakes or throttle and on it's travel back up I've had my flip flop get caught underneath the clutch.

You're kidding right?

I wouldn't want anyone thinking it's ok to tap my car because they were "designed" to be.

All too many people do that (especially here in the Washington DC area)...they park by "feel".

I didn't say "good". I said without incident. The title of the post is "Noob Ferrari parking". Like I said, if I had that car, I'd be cautious too. Especially in such a tight space. Honestly, I wouldn't have even tried to park there because it looked too tight. I don't think Ferrari's were designed with parallel parking as a concern.
