I honestly can't say I've heard much coming out of this show. Let me go look

Mitsu Outlander Sport
M6 Convertible
A special edition Wrangler
Avalon
New Altima (good buzz going)
RL
Viper (had no idea)
GLK mmc

Maybe I'm getting old. I haven't see much anticipation for any one car. I would figure the Viper would be talked about in spades.

It's gonna be large and imposing, without being too spectacular or futuristic.

It should exude a style and feel of an old-school-Cadillac. That's their target market, now that there no longer is a big-boat Cadillac DTS/DeVille, and neither are the Mercury and Oldsmobiles of the past...

Personally I'm anxious to see what Honda has in store for the RL, with the sweet electric SH-AWD, full hybrid (IMA no more), new V6 engine and new dual-clutch 7-speed. If Honda can just manage wrap all those cool bits into a reasonably handsome package it's going to be a winner and may just turn a new page for Honda.

This might have already been covered but im not going through 10+ pages lol

1st that isn't the new Avalon, its a facelift of the 3rd generation (XX30) which has been in production since 2005.

2nd the Avalon is built on a stretched Camry chassis.

2008

2011

Its going to need some flare and a more modern design. Even the 2011 looks a bit frumpy. If they get this right they will sell a ton of them. Its a such a comfortable and well made car,but a little styling will make customers lineup for them

Bud, we recommend setting extremely low expectations with them. It will sadly be a repeat of 1996 and 2005 all over again. Fail.

This new avalon seems to suggest a better pverall design as comapred to the bland new GS. Sorry - i am not feeling the approach lexus took on the new GS - The side looks like the current Avalon.

Personally i think the new azera looks way better than the new GS. Back on topic, im anxious to see this thing unveiled.

The rear of the new Avalon looks like it took some styling cues from the 2007 FT-HS.

Yes, you're right. Even the first FT86 concept looks like a miniature FT-HS. I'm glad that they are taking design cues from FT-HS concept.
