Default rent new car

Is there a way to rent a new Lexus, or other can, like new MDX for instance, for a few days to test it?

Some high end rental businesses do it.

Here in SoCal, Beverly Hills Rent a Car has luxury cars and exotics. They have Lexus and Acura available. Their website: http://www.bhrentacar.com/

I'm pretty sure you can find something in the New Jersey. Did a quick search and found this: http://www.imagerentacar.com/exotic-...jersey-nj.html

Most dealerships probably would not allow taking one of their new cars home for several days, as there is too much chance of something happening to it, as opposed to a 20-30-minute test-drive. In some cases, though (depends on the dealership), you can rent one of their loaners, if they have something close to what you are loooking for. You can also, of course, rent from any of the big rental companies like Hertz, Avis, Budget, National, etc....

My local Lexus dealer rent their loaner cars.......awesome deals too for a luxury car, $55 a day for any ES350, IS250, HS250h and RX350 they got available.

Or like PhilipMSPT mention, you can rent anything from exotic car rental company, everything from Veyron to Smartfortwo........except the P4/5, that car is not for rent.

I drove a RX around for two days because i was thinking of buying it. Not sure what my friend did to get it, but it was nice.

Even if they are not for rent, how do you think people normally treat their loaner cars?

People treat loaner cars worse then rental cars, because loaner cars are free and rental cars cost money so some people at least feels responsible for them.

From my experiences and observations, on average, all the loaner cars I had is in worst shape then rental cars.
