Seems a tad bit judgmental unless you have a couple hundred million we don’t know about 
You say stupid, I say brilliant creative marketing. The video will get millions of hits, its been written about on dozens of major websites and thousands of smaller ones.
A $50k PR retainer doesn’t get me a whole a lot, $300k in any kind of TV marketing does not go very far either. If they can spend 300k blowing up a car and get this level attention, its money well spent.
And hey, when the two guys torching the car have a net worth total north $500MM, blowing up a Maybach is about as wasteful as dropping 5k on wheels for average joe…………………..

People are going to have their opinions about everything. If they would of chopped the top off an 1998 Honda Accord people would of still been pissed. I dont understand why people get so mad. Money isn't coming out of your pockets.. Song is awesome and using the Otis Redding sample made the song even better.

i may be mistaken but, there's also the possibility that given that a business was used to produce this ad, the entire cost of the vehicle could be a massive tax write-off too no? (i have no idea how it works at that level o.o)
regardless a great way to generate buzz, given that they had minor pyro effects and few models, special effects, and what 2-3 locations? This could be one of the cheapest hit videos of the past 4-5 years hahah

oh i can comprehend endless songs about violence, treating people badly, shallowness, and amassing material things to show off. it has a big audience obviously. but like the show big brother (or 'how to lie and get ahead doing it') it's another sad thing...

It's unexpected.......then they convert it into some bling mobile with fire coming out of the mufflers/tailpipes (like it had some NITRO or some misfiring system installed
