Default Used GS 350 or LS 460?

Hi all, I am very close to making a purchase and wanted your feedback between these two cars. Which one would you pick and why? I personally like the styling of the GS 350 better but it is now outdated by a newer model and the LS 460 has many more features, but I feel as though it looks a lot like a Camry.

they drive very differently so I suggest that you check with test drives first.

Hi, yeah I have driven the GS 350 but not the LS 460 yet. I am just wondering what your opinions were in case that when I do test drive the LS 460 next week and I still don't know which car to pick.

To be honest the GS 350 just did not feel as agile as my GS 300. I would think that with the more powerful engine it would but it just felt a lot more toned down. In particular the GS 350 gas pedal was very stiff but about normal for a normal car and my GS 300 was purchased used but for some reason has a very very sensitive and light gas pedal and accelerates quickly. Maybe there was something done but everything in the engine bay of my GS 300 looks normal.

460...duh... Lol, but it's a totally different class. If u want more space, power, refinement, etc then it's a no brainer. I say go test drive one and give us your thoughts.

I'd get a used LS430 before I'd get a used GS350.

i had both the ls460l and the gs350. i sold the ls460l after 6 months and still have the gs350. the ls460 is a better car in a lot of ways. more powerful, larger, more comfortable, quieter, better built, more gadgets, etc...

but the car is boring to drive, a lot more boring than the gs350. for me it's great car but not for me (yet)

I driven the 2004 LS430. The floating ride smoothness was very comfortable, but it wasn't fun to drive at all. The GS350 should be better if you want a sporty, comfortable, & luxury car. The LS are all about luxury and comfortness.

IMO, they are for different purposes. The GS350 is more if you want a bit of sport without sacrificing too much luxury or comfort. The LS460 is more luxurious and comfortable, but not as sporty as the GS. The LS460 will ride like a dream if you want a luxury drive, but the GS won't feel the same. But the GS will feel better if you want to have fun driving than the LS will.

If the price difference was 7k. I'd take the GS350. But that's probably cuz i'm only 22, i'd buy the GS350 and dump the 7k into some SWEEEET mods

I use to have a GS, if you feel that the GS350 is not as agile or sporty as your gen 2 GS, then the LS460 will not satisfy you. On the other hand, the LS460 will surround you with impeccable luxury and the car just feels "money" to be in. Lexus really pour all their craftsmanship into building the LS, since it's their flagship vehicle.
