Texas rural highways are extremely straight. So straight that there are segments where you can literally see the road extending over a mile ahead of you and you will measure the miles by the tens before you pass the next crossroads. These are the types of roads that already have a 75 mph limit and could be increased.
Obviously not every highway is going to be 85 mph. The highways around most cities are set at 65 and will likely never change.
Perhaps you should qualify your statement with the reasons you typed it.
