Sorry for my lack of published MM reviews lately, guys. I know I've got both CL-member and non-CL-review requests pending for the 2012 Toyota Camry XLE/Hybrid, Prius-v wagon, Subaru Impreza, Chevy Spark, Scion IQ, and the Infiniti JX and Ford Escape, which will probably be released as 2013 models. None of these vehicles have (yet) been released in my (D.C.) area, probably due to the Japanese earthquake. The earthquake and its effects held up a number of new 2012 intros, even for non-Japanese nameplate vehicles that depend on some imported Japanese-made parts.
Subaru is (vaguely) announcing Oct-Nov for the new Impreza, and Scion, for the IQ, this fall on the West Coast and February-March on the East Coast where I am. The others....we'll just have to wait and see.
I do have a CL review-suggestion, not really a specific request, for the big Mercedes S550. I do a special Holiday Review, on an expensive upmarket car, each year in early December.....that may (?) be the one I do this year (haven't decided yet).
In the meantime, Hoovey2411 posts a lot of good reviews.....and Mike (1SICKLEX) also does some good 1SICKREVIEWs himself. I'll add mine again when these vehicles become available.

Sure have. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

While neither one is a bad car by any means (and the new Focus has some notable improvements over its American-market predecessor), I wasn't quite as totally impressed with either one as I thought I'd be. And the new Civic, though probably as reliable as the Energizer-Bunny, showed significant cost-cutting inside.

Thanks.
Glad you enjoy them.
Harvey and Mike post good ones too.
In the next few months (or maybe early next year) I'm going to be looking and shopping for myself, too (a new car)......yes, that time's coming up again.

M-B shops, as you note, used to be "stealerships" (and often with arrogant sales/service/parts reps). But, in recent years, intense competition with other premium auto-brands has mellowed them out somewhat. Parts/service/repairs can still cost an arm and a leg, though.

LOL. It's our privilege to read your reviews, not an obligation of yours to write them. Just keep writing very comprehensive and thoughtful reviews and take your time to get them right. I really do appreciate your write-ups because even if we have differing opinions, you make them clearly come across as your opinions and still are able to present the rest of the review as objectively as possible. For that I salute you.
