I agree, I think GM did do a good job with the Camaro. It certainly is a head turner. I just can't wrap my head around the idea of muscle cars now a days having smaller engines all the while having better efficiency and power. Give me the five and half liter eight cylinders, that's where my head is at. Something that truly roars when you step on the accelerator. If I had to go with a 'muscle car' from GM, my choice would be with a CTS-V hands down.

Edit: Of course I forgot that the pinnacle of General Motor's powerful cars is the ZR1. But then again I'm getting away from myself.

I think all of the Big 3 are doing a good job with the retro cars. The Mustang has looked great since the 2005 refresh, and only getting better. With it's new 5.0 Coyote engine, it's seems to be a screamer.
The Camaro is a real head turner, and that 6.2L sounds like a decent engine.
I like the Challenger with the hemi as well. It's the heaviest of the three, so its performance does lag, but who the freak cares? I'd take any of the three.
My only disappointment is that the Camaro is without its cousin, the Firebird. It's just not right.

Its definitely a hit with consumers but it hasn't grown on me yet. I do prefer the mustang over the camaro due to the mustang having decent body lines and still looks like a mustang.
I still think the camaro looks to boxy and boat looking. I mean i guess people like it. There everywhere now.

I think its going to take them time to come out with an equivalent to that now that Pontiac is gone. I generally hate Pontiac's, but i love the G8 GXP. That thing looks mean and sounds bad ***. They didn't sell that well though, I remember they discounted them like crazy even before Pontiac was set to close up shop because they had a very high amount of them still in inventory. Seems like not too many people are interested in it.

Pontiac was an awesome company, I was sad to see it go. Wish they had kept it rather than Buick.
Chevy could use a good 4-door, but thankfully they'll never do it to the Camaro. Something like the G8 would be pretty sweet.
