Default 2jz swap into a 1MZ avalon

The title says it all. I know both engines are 3000cc. Is this swap possible and if so. Howmuch is the cost? Comments?

Displacement isn't the issue. The Avalon's engine and transmission are mounted in a transverse direction while the 2jz is mounted longitudinally. The 2JZ is much longer and unless you are converting the car to RWD, you're not going to have much luck.

You have better chances with Avalons predecessor - the Cressida.

its possibly, but like 1sick said, you gotta have patience, and in your case, lots of money. i seen a guy on maxima.org stuff a RB26 motors in a nissan maxima, pretty much doing the same thing your asking about. i dont think he would be using the same FWD trans with a 2jz motor.
