Cars and Coffee v.10.01 *show stealers edition*
So, it was looking to be your typical Cars and Coffee. You had your late model Ferrari's sprinkled around, you had your Lambo's here and there. A couple of Porsche and 'Vettes. The "usual" stuff that would make lots of people drool but by now just get a passing 'meh' from yours truly.
As I completed my loop of the lot I noticed a large congregation gathered around a car. So I scurried in that direction and was immediately astonished to see a Cunningham C-3 Continental. A very special and very rare monster of a car. It combines Italian styling with American engineering and power. A combination that has made for many great, memorable, cars through out history. Only 30 of these homo-ligation specials where built, so to see one is a real treat. The car is really imposing, it looks like somewhat of a scaled up Ferrari 212.
Then the next show stealer came along....the Ferrari F40. It's amazing that after all these years this car can draw such a crowd no matter where it goes. The owner even parked right behind the Cunningham so as to steal some of its glory. For a moment it seemed as if half of the Cars and Coffee attendees this morning where around these two magnificent automobiles.
But enough of my blabbering, you guys are here for this weeks picks of the pics:
