Do not like the headlights. But the rear looks better than the current one. Interior still looks the same to me, very boring. I guess people already bought E90 wouldn't regret afterall.

I'm not a fan of the front. I think the E92/e93 look far more elegant from the front. In the first picture especially, the hood bulges appear to make the car look a little clumsy and bloated. It does not look as sleek and elegant as the E92.
I have always been a fan of the f10 tail lights on the BMW 5 series, so naturally I am a fan here as well.

The headlights look strange because they extend all the way to the grills. It should have stopped at the tip of the headlights. The hood also looks weird to me, i liked it a lot better when the hood included the grill instead of ending above everything. Also the bottom half of the front bumper is horrible. The mtech version is decent. Otherwise I like the exterior changes.
The seats are a monstroscity. And Im surprised they still went with the pop up navi screen. BMW interior is still ranked very low compared to it's competitor IMO

Not bad. Much better than the current sedan. Looks like a baby 5-series except for the front. The front to me looks like it is very heavily based off of the concepts. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

wow...and people complain that all Audis look the same. This looks like a baby 5 series (which itself is a baby 7 series). Overall, I think it looks good (esp. the front end) and is an improvement over the previous model, good considering this will be found all over the streets in the near future.

DAMNIT! These cars need to stop GROWING!!
A Little More of the Same
There is one trend that BMW was never going to reverse — the new 3 Series is bigger than its predecessor. The front track has grown by 1.5 inches and the rear by 1.9 inches. The wheelbase is longer by 2 inches and the overall length is up 3.7 inches. In sum, these changes make a notable difference, but they're hardly revolutionary.

Or larger rear overhang?

Overall it looks good, much better than E90 when just introduced, especially photoshopped real life pics from BMW :-). But interior is based on 1 series, and it is way too cute for 3 series. Color coded interior? That M steering wheel looks like it is from Mini!

Bulging hood looks cartoonish and squished front end is odd. Also don't care for the lower air intakes below the bumper (looks like a kid pulling his cheeks apart with his fingers), the bubble-top greenhouse is Toyota Echo-esque (not sporty at all), the twisted seats are obnoxious, and the twist on the dashboard is totally unecessary.
It seems like many like this car, but from a styling point, I feel it's an extroverted mess with odd proportions.
