Default If you had $30k - $35k to buy any car in the world, what would you buy?

Anything from a new Prius to a 2008 LS460 to a 2007-8 Mercedes S600 to a 2006 BMW M3...anything.

I'm posting here because I think the answer for me is a 2008 LS460. Anything out there that beats that for the value?

In my opinion, this question is subjective to life stage and what one is trying to accomplish with their car. I'd move this question the "Car Chat" section.

Those are all different cars the only similar one is the S600 which you wont find under $40k. If thats the answer for you than you like big luxury sedans and for your price range the LS is your best bet. The average person shopping for a prius wouldnt want the other cars. I already own a ls and a sc430 and a RR HSE so I guess for me it would a modded turbo supra that way I have something to smoke most street cars But if youre looking for value theres always Hyundai.

LS is not a bad choice, if you need a big luxury sedan for that price.

For me NSX or Supra

seriously that is on my list after tax credit of course.

Others on the list would be MB C class, Audi A4, can you get a C63 used for that price?

07-08 Lexus LS460, starts at around $31k here. An 09 starts in the high $30ks.

Or an 08 Lexus ISF (see one for $33k, then $38k). Should fall in that price range by the time we enter 2012.

For 35K?

New..........probably an Outback 3.6R. I've been extremely pleased with my present Outback, except that the H6 would give it some more spunk......on 87-octane, now. The H4 is adequate for my driving-tastes, but a little sluggish.

Used............I'm with you; probably a used LS. No better luxury-car, IMO, on the planet.....though it's tough to beat the BMW road-manners.

.......And how did you get a call-sign like that? Are you related to Warren Buffet? If so, you probably won't have to buy anything used.
