Funny thing is the BMW Board likes the prices! Guess they like over paying for a regular car!

MSRP means nothing to Bimmer leasers, they just look at their monthly payment and have no idea what the true cost of the car is (gross cap cost).

Seriously? And you didn't over pay for your IS-F over AMG or M3? It's just to each his own - some like Lexus, some like BMW...

I can see the next gen IS having similar price points. Especially with the CT on the lower end.

True but more AMG and M3 at the dealerships cost more than an ISF! Dealerships don't even have base AMG or M3 unless special ordered. When you add one option the prices goes higher than an ISF plus you have to pay the gas tax! So in the end you save a couple of thousand.

my m3 gives me the fun that isf can't come close to giving me, so? my point is it's so pointless to argue about price this way. people buy things because they think it's worth it, and it's always subjective. you think lexus makes sense? bunch of hyundai owners will disagree with you and think lexus is overpriced, i bet.

True that. But I tried to cross shop both. BMW is much more willing to come down in price for a pretty loaded M3 sedan than Lexus for IS-F. The result was - almost equally loaded, the M3 offer was almost $2500 less than IS-F.
