Well I just sold my wires car, and the more i look at the Pilot the more I want to get one. I mean, Japanese, 2006-2008,low miles, nav, dvd, leather, 8seats, 4wd, $25k? How can you go wrong? Is there something I'm missing here? Yea I know its not a lexus but its still pretty tempting. Heeellllppp

Yea I did but there is no toys at all in them. My wife really like the rear dvd idea and the built in nav. 4runner seats are just plain uncomfortable too, my gs300 kills them. The Pilot has the MDX seats which are like a mattress lol. Also not nearly as much cargo room and way worse on gas..

Have you checked out the 4Runner as well? They are also around that price range...[/QUOTE]

Have had a 2005 MDX in the family since new and it's been superb. The Acura has a more luxurious dash, smoother ride, and slightly more horsepower than the Pilot, but either would be a winning bet. These things are built very well with an excellent track record for relibility. They also ride very smoothly for an SUV and the V6 makes great sounds. Find one that's been well taken care of and you'll be a happy customer.

I currently have a 04 MDX that I use sometimes and it's a great ride just not something that is outstanding. Maybe I am spoiled but I would of liked to see better gearing/power/noise reduction/ less horrible scary handling/braking, but that would be if it is my DD which it is not. Just some of my thoughts.

I had a Sienna got rid of it, and was looking at a Pilot, liked it but was not a huge fan of the ride. Wish I had tried out an MDX, before I bought my CR-V which I traded in after 4 months for a 2012 Camry. Good luck.

You can't go wrong with a 2006-2008 2nd Gen Honda Pilot! I know! I own one and I have never have come across any issues unlike any of it's Honda Acura siblings, just routine maintenance and she good to go! I maybe a Lexus owner but every now and then I hop into my Pilot with the wife & kids take long drives in comfort.. Oh by the way.. I'm a employer for AHM R&D =) Go buy your Honda Pilot!!! Enjoy!!!

^Doubt he'd be able to find a GX, with all the bells and whistles, with low mileage, for under $25k. But then again, I never really browsed for GXs before, so I could be wrong; and probably am..lol.
