Default The new Camry is an improvement but...

..the rear design with those taillights is really awful.Downright ugly as hell.
I saw a few on the road and all were LE's.
The Camry will have a new taillight design next year or the first refresh.
Toyota has to add a taillight trim piece to the trunk lid to even off the taillight.

I think the entire exterior is pretty homely. It looks like a mix between the Gen 4 and Gen 6...which is a shame, because the interior is really nice

True,I'm not a big fan of the design and I've always liked the Camry.
I've owned a '07 XLE and '11 loaded Hybrid that was rear ended and I dumped.

Definitely. Toyota upgraded the interior, but completely failed on the exterior design, esp. the taillights.

Everytime a new Camry passes by, the taillights is just

No one likes the lobster claw?

It's not gorgeous nor breathtaking, but I don't find it offensive...

Just awful!
Guaranteed there will be a full taillight very soon.

Look how nice the taillight is on the Asian Camry.
What the heck were the US model designers thinking?
Did they go out for drinks with the Acura designers?

See it in person. Pictures don't show how bad it really looks from the back (no pun intended).

I think the last one looked a lot better and classier than the "big Corolla" that is the 2012. Still as big a meh as ever though.

Its not a great styling element but at least the car overall looks decent especially in SE form. The Camry is well a Camry.

I hate how it gone back to unadjustable rear head rest. It is for 80s and early 90s cars.

They toyota test facility is near my office and they love to stop in the parking lot and take their driving notes. I have seen them up close and its not an ugly car but not a pretty one as well. It suits its hum drum mass produced look
