Go for the Camaro if you like mullets and think relationships with your closest cousins are okay.

Dollar for Dollar, the GTR is the better overall car...

the SS will be easier to make fast in a straight line and cheaper new vs new...

GT-R is a far better, more advanced car.

GTR is a better car but also a bit more expensive. I would save a bit of money ( up front purchase and then again on maintenance and insurance) and go Camaro! Get the ZL1 and you still save a huge chunk of change.

I think that stereotype is out now.

It's all about the Transformers

Lookswise, I would even go for the Camaro

Consider design philosophy

All the GTR instruments are in view when driving.

For the Camaro, the high school drop outs who designed the car with a retro first approach, placed gauges just above the shifter to pay homage to the 60s cars.

Bad thinking then is followed by bad thinking now.

also interior quality of the camaro is horrid
the ridiculously bad visibility out of the car is something that will get you into trouble in the parking lot

Definitely the GTR.

I'd even recommend a C6 Corvette Z06 over the Camaro SS.

Camaro doesn't even fit the bill, I would go for the new GT500

Definitely a weird comparo. GTR for sure if you've got the budget.

I kind of like both. If you can afford the GTR, my guess is you can afford both.
