What modern car takes 3 seconds to do 0-130mph? I have not heard of any. There are maybe 3 or 4 modern sports cars that can do 0-60 in 3 seconds flat or less. GTR, Veyron, 911 turbo, maybe 911GT2, maybe new Pagani or Konigsegg but not much else. Those times are aided by advanced launch controls.

I definitely agree with that. The last generation SL was one of my favorite cars of all time. It was so sleek and cool looking.

This new one is alright though.

Even my 300 hp ultra slow (by fast car's standard) LS430, at speed if I put my foot in it at any given time, it get to 110 instantly. Today's 400~600 hp cars get to 130 instantly, anywhere. That's what I meant.

Special winter / all-season-tires with a Y rating represent a very small market. Most people tend to drive safer and slower during the winters. Tires that are limited to 125 mph are already fast enough, especially for Germany.
