The 63 is more sporty in every ways since everything is sport tune.

The decision is, you want silky V12 or a sporty V8?
yeah silky fast but you don't hear the rumble from the amg exhaust so no "butt feel" that it's faster

I saw a guy with a cl600 punch it with a bike-what a sight! They were gone in an instant

63 is faster on the straight than the 600?

Oh yes absolutely, especially with the performance package, look at the specs:

50 more hp and tq, 2 more gears, 50 less lbs................

CL63
563 hp @ 5,250 rpm
664 lb-ft @ 2,000 rpm
7-speeds
Weight 4599 lbs

CL600
510 hp @ 5,000 rpm
612 lb-ft @ 1,800 rpm
5-speeds
Weight 4650 lbs

The old NA 63 might be a bit slower due to the much lower torque, but not much slower, just a hair.

That is true, louder always makes it feels faster. But I don't think the new turbo 63's exhaust is that loud though due to the turbos in the way. The old NA's 63 is loud.

In my old street racing days, I raced an older CL65 driven by an old lady with my not that slow modded STi. My STi can do 0-60 in 4.4, she punched it and walked away from me like I was standing still

Yeah, I'm interested on that as well.

Still, if MB can't do it, then I can't blame them. I reckon that the cost of development is really a lot and/or the amount of engineering as well as the strength and durability of the materials for the gearbox/transmission that is needed to keep up with the absurd amount of torque.

Either way, MB makes their own transmissions and gearbox so they definitely cannot or would not resort to using stuff from other manufacturers or companies.

Correct, the new TT 63 is a much stronger beast.

This is what I mean when I said the numbers don't lie

LMAO but now a visit to the Renntech facility for some stage 1 goodies might give me a advantage
