IIRC they use capacitors that are more efficient, though less pratical.

Cool! Look forward to seeing them in competition which can't come soon enough give that, sadly, Peugeot just shut down their Le Mans efforts.

They hybrid system they'll use was said by Pascal Vasselon, to be based off the one the Supra HV-R used. That won the 24 hour Tokachi race in Japan years ago. Given the success of that car and the time they've had to develop that powertrain, this LMP stands good chance to win.
