Lexus Hatchback F?

I was behind a Hyundai Veloster this morning. The more I looked at it the more I think that Lexus should come out with something like it. Or that that design would be something Lexus would of put out.

why would lexus want to downgrade itself as a brand and create something like the veloster? It didnt work with the w203 C class hatchback, and bmw is holding out on bringing over the 1 series hatch. Lexus got lucky with the CT. They would have to price it below the CT and at that point, can you really call it a luxury car?

I think Toyota should design something similar not Lexus. The Veloster is a great looking vehicle and it drives pretty nicely even with the smaller motor currently used. With the upcoming turbo it will be a class leader imho. To me the turbo will be the closest thing we currently have to a CRX of back in the day

I think Hyundai is doing a lot of things right (product, customer relationships, etc) and will be making its way through the ranks in a serious way in the next 5-10 years
