The white GS300 is tasteful, but damn, that white 599 takes the cake. Those mods toned down by about 10% is what the 599 should have been to begin with.

Also, looks like the Shenzhen visitor in the Phantom is abiding by the stoplight. Good for him, although bringing a Phantom to HK seems rather vain. (kind of like UAE-plate megacars in London)

What romini said is great......though you can also try areas where rich people hang out like Union Square in West Kowloon (西九龍) all the way up to Tai Kok Tsui (大角嘴)

But in any case, you can spot exotic cars anywhere in the country.......even all the way to places like Cyberport (數碼港)

Hope that helps

@superchan7

I never knew that Mainland China registered vehicles can now enter Hong Kong territory. I was surprised by this because I was puzzled when I saw Left Hand Drive vehicles like that Chinese-made Buick minivan or the Chinese version of the Toyota Previa (which was an entirely different rear end compared to the Japan-made one that your Previa has).

The permits (HK number plates usually "FU" or "FV") are supposedly for "official business," so most mainland visitors are in large, utilitarian vans like Toyota Previa or the older Granvia. It's rare to see a RR...after all, why do you need to bring a fancy car across the border "for official duty", other than to be showy?

PS: The 粵B registration means the car is from Shenzhen.

Oh yes, the 993 is the legend. Is and probably will be the most desirable 911 generation of all times. Best of both world, classic styling inside and out, with aircooled sounds and pretty modern performance. Plus the Turbo and Turbo S are very rare.

The 996 is the all time low point. 997 is good but it lost the classic styling. From here on 991 and so on will just get more and more modernize and loses more classic styling and feels.

yup very true, the resale of the 996 tank so bad for a reason. the 997 is back a little but still not there. i don't know, still a bit worried about 991, still something about the look especially the rear and the proportion that turns me down

The last 993 Turbo S I saw on autotrader, it was not a mint car and got some miles on it, listed for $125k

Seinfeld's blue mint zero miles USDM 993 Turbo S sold for $225k if I remember correctly.

996 tank so much, it is actually an attractive daily driver. My co-worker just picked up a mint 996 Turbo X50 for $50k.

The 997 is back all the way, it just doesn't have the coolness of the 993.

The 991 will grow on you, it did to me A LOT. But how ever good they are from now on, it will just never be as cool as the 993.

Kind of like no newer M3 is as exotic as the E30 M3. The E92 M3 came REALLY close, but still not quite.

There are a few 993 Turbo's for sale in Montreal, only problem is... I don't drive standard. Now that be something leasing a used 993 Turbo.

I do agree that hong long does have one of most exotic cars. I also do want to add, you guys should check out how many exotic cars that can be spotted in Vancouver BC, especially Richmond. I spot r8, gallardo, maserati, bently practically almost everyday. What makes it worst is that, the drivers are ridiculously young spoiled international student drivers from china ages from 18-23!

Perfect example:

The exotics in HK are driven by the parents of the Vancouver exotic drivers
