Hope they make the LS light like they kept the GS's weight down. ~3900lbs. should be good for the non-long wheelbase models. Isn't the Jag XJ around that weight?

If they can achieve quietness, comfort and isolation at lower weight, I agree with your statement.

Check out this comment from Lexus Enthusiast 4 months ago that is pretty much on the ball:

I just got back from a Lexus training event and have a lot of new insider news stuff to share. The spindle grill is the new face of Lexus all across the board. The 2012 Lx570 will even have it and is due out in February (looked really strange though as only the front end was changed as far as I could tell). Fsport Rx is confirmed and looked really sporty. The new Es concept photos were absolutely sick!!!! Looked like an A7 or CLS from the side and an Aston-Jag front. Very very sporty!!!

So there will be an ES concept before the production model is unveiled. Okay, it looks really good as a concept but I was hoping that they would go directly to showing the production model. Now we'll have to see if we get a LF-Gh -> 4GS concept-to-production reduction with the ES concept. Regardless, I'm excited to see this! Maybe an ES AWD will become an A6 competitor lol

Wouldn't an AWD ES hurt the sales of the GS? I mean, I'm thinking that a lot of people don't get the ES cause the interior isn't that great looking, and it's FWD, so they go with the RWD/AWD GS which handles better, looks nicer, and has a better interior.

If they do release an AWD ES, that would be pretty sweet though.

yup... now all thats left is the 2nd F-Sport model.

The only thing I can think of is the LS... unless they make a LX F-Sport lol

The LS Sport model is already out, but if they make an F-Sport version, that would be cool. Maybe get the rear wheel steering like the GS? I wonder if the LS is the other model to receive F-Sport treatment? May be another model were not thinking of. But the only candidates are the big SUVs, which I doubt.
