Don't know where it's selling better, but I barely see any in Los Angeles. Maybe two a week on my daily commute. They are also advertising the heck out of a subvented SE model... something I've never seen Toyota do for the first model year.
I'm with DoomLight. I think the last gen looked cleaner and less fabricated. That front airdam on the SE looks like one of those 1960's poodle prom dresses.

They need wider wheels, but that's a quick fix, and to me, they look better than the previous generations. The SE is nice looking. I saw a few LE's on the road, look pretty decent in silver.

That is a very nice surprise, I don't think anymore expected that . This will really shut up a lot of the haters and critics. 35% take rate for the SE model is just awesome, as that is the best-looking model. More good-looking Camrys on the road will mean a better reputation for the Camry, which will lead to good things all around. Also a great surprise that the average age for Camry buyers has lowered by quite a bit.

i drove one of these at the Miami Auto Show last November. it didnt impress me. maybe because im 33 and single with no kids.
this car is becoming a Buick. already bland and boring, and less elegant than the last model. clearly not targeted towards me. but yet people seem to be buying them in droves. like mindless Zombies!
