Don't know where it's selling better, but I barely see any in Los Angeles. Maybe two a week on my daily commute. They are also advertising the heck out of a subvented SE model... something I've never seen Toyota do for the first model year.
I'm with DoomLight. I think the last gen looked cleaner and less fabricated. That front airdam on the SE looks like one of those 1960's poodle prom dresses.

Isn't the SE 4-cylinder only $500 more than the LE? A no-brainer upgrade imo.

I see these new camrys everywhere in San Francisco, especially in Chinatown...

seriously I see at least 5 everyday. Of course they could be the same ones everyday but still.

They need wider wheels, but that's a quick fix, and to me, they look better than the previous generations. The SE is nice looking. I saw a few LE's on the road, look pretty decent in silver.

well they sold a crap load of them so far, but it is only 4 months on market... wait for half a year and you wont be able to go to the store without seeing one in each color :-)

I bought an LE, and now i'm regretting not getting the SE. These ugly LE wheels are getting to me.

Would you go for the SE's ride-comfort, though? It is firmer than in base-models, though not necessarily more-so than in the XLE model.

That is a very nice surprise, I don't think anymore expected that . This will really shut up a lot of the haters and critics. 35% take rate for the SE model is just awesome, as that is the best-looking model. More good-looking Camrys on the road will mean a better reputation for the Camry, which will lead to good things all around. Also a great surprise that the average age for Camry buyers has lowered by quite a bit.

i drove one of these at the Miami Auto Show last November. it didnt impress me. maybe because im 33 and single with no kids.

this car is becoming a Buick. already bland and boring, and less elegant than the last model. clearly not targeted towards me. but yet people seem to be buying them in droves. like mindless Zombies!
