Default I caught the next generation Lexus ES test mule !!

saw this on the way to the office this morning. The Lexus/Toyota test facility is about 4 miles away from my office.

I added a picture from a magazine as well to compare, but I am pretty sure we are looking at the same car.

I must say I am pleased to see it larger and has a lot more headroom.

Nice spot! Lexus dared Buick to make a better ES. They made a good effort. Then Lexus said now watch us make a better ES

Rear headroom and trunk look cavernous.

Hopefully, all that space will be utilized with as much efficiency as possible. It would be great to have the most headroom and legroom for its category, as well as cargo.

I have several patients who are Lexus/Toyota test drivers. I saw one of them in the office parking lot taking notes on the new camry. He had these huge water drums in the backseat and front passenger seat to simulate a full car. What a cool job. Another one of my patients tested the ISF when it was first released . I will ask them about the new ES when I see them next.

How much larger does it seem than the current ES? Nice catch, BTW!

It looks significantly taller and the trunk is higher. I am driving an ES loaner car right now so I could compare directly . This new model will have much better headroom and better trunk space. I am excited to drive one and see how quiet this thing will be. Its supposed to be extremely quiet

I'm pretty sure the right exhaust outlet is there.. only slightly visible.

As an ES owner I'm excited to see what the new one will look like - but at the same time bummed because a new vehicle is NO where in my near future.

Honestly that's what it needed. Same with the entire line up. Lexus needs infuse more passion and sportiness into their designs. If he 4GS is an indication, I would say we are headed in the right direction

I have a feeling that this will look better than new GS due to roofline.
