My friend owns a S4 and I have ridden in his car for a few times. A nice performance car with lots of potential of modding. A pretty good driver's car. The back seat is a bit crowded though.

A4 is nice, S4 is tight.........only problem is, on a prelude board I'm on, in an SCCA stock class, his 1994 vtec prelude on ****ty kuhmos was pulling better times than an s4 on hoosiers, onthe road course

The A4's are nice, they drive pretty good.
If you want to Mod the 1.8T engine, take a look at http://www.mtm-online.de/ , I think they can take it up to 420 hp with a 2 liter stroker.

A4s are nice. I was actually considering one before since you can get them for relatively cheap and they(1.8T) are easy to mod. S4s are still around 30k last time I checked.
www.goapr.com its a great site.

Very nice cars, but I wish they were RWD. But Quattro is nice. A WRX could easily hang with an S4, though. Audi interiors and styling is almost second-to-none. Audi has been slandered and under-rated for way too long. They're a great company with really good products. I just wish VW would quit screwing them over by basing Audis on VWs and stealing their technology. Damn VW to hell.

I love the styling of the new A4. If I was in the market for that size vehicle, I'd definitely consider buying one. IMO, Audi is at least on par with the other german car makers (MB,BMW) and I kind of like Audi more than the other two because people buy them because they are great cars, not just because they have a certain badge on them (generally speaking). I'm seriously considering taking a look at the new A8 when it comes out next year...love the pics I've seen so far. The only thing I'm not sure about with Audi's is their reliability. I know they've had problems in the past, but I think they've improved the past couple of years.

A4 is a beautiful car. Defintaley stick with the turbo. I have a stock audi TT and it is smooth and very quick! If you are looking for performance then go with an older, used S4, if not than a turbo A4. The wetterauer chips are great too www.wetterauer.com. Hope this helps.

The VW's interior isn't quite as plush, but its basic layout is almost identical.
