my family used to own an dealership and i will tell you right now, we would side with the customer over our own employee at any time... unless customer is total ahole and actually completely wrong and malicious.

why would anyone defend an employee that is doing bad job.

this is why i keep saying owner needs to hear about it. Talking to owner is going to be a lot more helpful than writing on blogs and forums.

You're shooting yourself in the foot every time you complain here without taking the one action which will result in a positive outcome. Who on Club Lexus has the power to resolve your issue? Anyone?

The dealership owner has the exclusive ability to solve this problem in a way you can't imagine. But you deny him the opportunity by complaining to all of us and posting negative reviews online without telling him anything about it.

I told my wife when I met her "if I do something you don't like, and you tell all your friends what an A-hole I am without ever telling me what I did wrong, what do you think is going to change? NOTHING! If you tell me, I'll address it immediately, and all your friends won't think you're an idiot for staying with this guy who treats you like dirt."

You've posted a lot of excuses (yes, a newborn and work are EXCUSES for not acting to resolve this) for why you won't do the one thing most likely to bring this whole thing to resolution. Why won't you call the owner, tell him your story, and FINALLY determine if this problem really starts at the top, or if you're just suffering because he accidentally hired people who do not hold his values?

Like I have said in previous posts, I have my appointment to meet the specialist tomorrow and I don't want to start **** before then. I need to get issue resolved without this clown manager creating issues. I will contact the owner this week. BIG MACK gave me the corporate office number. There are no excuses here. Just priorities. The is a method to the madness. Also this drama had me wound up to the point where I could not even enjoy my new son. I would just come home fuming and yelling. Lexus, Bell Lexus, and Club Lexus take a back seat to my kids and helping my hormonal and emotional wife during this trying time with a newborn. So what you call excuses are simply adult priorities. When I am at work I see a patient every 15 minutes. I dont even have time to go to the bathroom, and when I come home.........well you can imagine if you have kids

I am excited to see what the tech says tomorrow. I have waited 6 weeks to meet this guy. I am honestly so paranoid that the manager at Bell will do something to ruin my meeting with the specialist that I have been jumpy when I get a phone call on my cell because I am worried that they will call me the day before the appointment ( today), like they did at Arrowhead Lexus, and cancel my appointment

PS contacting a man who did $28,000,000 in sales last year is not like meeting with some joe blow kind of dude. These people are insulated BIG TIME. I know even when I call to leave a message either he will not call me back or one of his staff will.

I contact people selling a lot more than $28M annually in computer hardware every day. They're amazingly approachable. I also deal with healthcare in my job, so sure, I understand what you're saying, but the reality of life is, we get done what is important and only what is important.

But you're making my point for me. This whole thing has you so emotionally on edge you're having difficulty enjoying the rest of life. It belongs on the front burner. It won't be there long, then you can get back to enjoying life and focusing on your family without having this thing nagging at you and keeping you on edge.

I see your point brother. I had been yelled at by the wife because I was so wrapped up in the issue. I am off tomorrow. I will see the tech at 1 pm and I will call the Berge auto group corporate office when I get home in the afternoon.

Thanks for the advice

I would say continue what you are doing. You should also list all the dealerships in this network. Ate they all Lexus dealerships? If not, find and post your experience in all the respective car forums. As you said, they have the right to deny you service, you have the right to talk about and share your experience as much as you want. i would like to know which dealerships are part of this network so I can inform several of my colleagues who live in AZ this story.

Its Bell Lexus and Arrowhead Lexus. I think there are 7 total dealerships but the others are non Lexus .

I am sorry to hear about your experience . Seems like Bell Lexus has gone down hill BIG TIME. I read a review online where a guy said they did work on his car and left a rag in the engine bay THAT CAUGHT FIRE!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine how incompetent the techs have to be .

http://www.dealerrater.com/dealer/Be...s-review-1550/

Like I said the foreman cant even put a freakn door panel on the right way........twice. They do very very poor quality wok and diagnosis. The attention to detail used to be stellar but had gone down the tubes over the last three years in my opinion.

I called the Ford dealership that the owners office is supposed to be at and left a message with the receptionist explaining what happened and never heard back. She didnt really inspire any confidence when she was taking the message. I didnt even bother to call back. With customer service like they have displayed so stongly I frankly dont ever want to business with them or any affiliated dealerships. I am a long time resident of the valley and I will always tell anyone I know. To bad for them because of my line of work I meet about 100 people a week. If buying a car comes up I will steer them away from Bell Lexus and Arrowhead Lexus

In my opinion these kind of BS happens at ALL dealerships. These dealerships uses low paying mechanics that comes and go quickly, the same with the service advisors............basicially nobody care and they offer zero accountability.

Reputation don't matter a whole lot to dealerships either, doesn't matter how bad they are, there will still be people that goes to them just because it is a dealer. That's why they can get away with ripping so many people off and screwing up so many people's cars. It simply don't affect them much.

My cars are work on either by myself or my trusted mechanic, that's the only way to avoid these kind of BS.

The entire situation had me so pissed off I was losing sleep. In the end I realized that I can complain and all they will do at best is to pay for my glass and I would still feel awkward returning to the dealership even if the managers/owner took my side. I can afford to buy Lexus vehicles and I will take my money elsewhere but I will share my experience with any and everyone. I work in a retirement community where we have a ton of "snow birds" ( people who live back east and mid west who come to AZ 6 months out of the year to avoid the bad weather ). These snow birds are usually affluent professional people who are retired. This is the exact demographic that dominates Lexus sales ( or at least a huge chunk) rosters. I will damage their reputation just like they damaged my car. The funny thing is that the more I look into it the more I find out that Bell Lexus has screwed a bunch of other people with their poor quality work and even poorer accountability . I am currently working with another dealership that has shown me nothing but support and a true desire to fix my car as well as a real understanding. When I test drove the car with the foreman at Scottsdale Lexus it was like listening to a group of doctors going down a differential diagnosis list. Very impressive when compared to the idiots at Bell Lexus who said they dont know what it is but that they " can throw parts at it". Thats like an MD saying "well, lets just keep taking organs out until we get the right one". Idiots.
Bell Lexus sucks

My point was dealers are usually the scariest place to have a car work on because they have zero accountability.

The only way to get even is with a lawsuit which is not worth it for a normal person with a small concern.

The only time the dealer touch my cars are when they give me free parts and labors under warranty. Even then, I am reluctant to let them have the car. I pray everytimes my cars are in the dealer that nothing bad happens to them.

I had the most expensive and reputable Lexus dealer in my town replaced the AC system in my SC430 under warranty, sure enough, the car comes back far from perfect, I had to go back multiple times to address multiple issues. Even with it being totally free of charge, it was painful. If I was paying out of my own pocket, I would be furious.

Imagine in my case they put 642 miles on the car, damaged the car, AND didnt diagnose the problem. The more I think about it the more frustrated I get. I need to find a good local Lexus mechanic.

That's typical dealer BS for you.

Don't think about it, let it go, is over. You are just making yourself angry while the dealer is laughing their *** off. Learn your lesson and don't make the same mistake again. I rank car dealership at the same level as drug dealer and prostitute, they would do anything they can get away with for a buck. I knew a guy that got ripped off $10k by a dealer blindly and laugh in his face saying what you gonna do about it? Sue me! So he did sue them as he got money and want to get even. $120k legal fees later, he won and the dealer lost $200k of legal fees and $40k depreciation on the car that they had to take back. Victory for the customer and show how dealers are total scumbag. But how many regular Joe is going to risk $120k of legal fees to get even? The dealer knows how much BS they can get away with.
