2013 Honda Crosstour: It’s Still Ugly

By Derek Kreindler on April 4, 2012

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, it did.

So apparently the 2013 Crosstour will get new transmissions (a 5-speed automatic for the 4-cylinder, and a 6-speed automatic for the V6), new “styling”, new safety features like lane departure warning, front collision avoidance and a4-inch display in the instrument cluster that can give turn-by-turn directions and other information while reducing distraction.

Woopdee-do! Put a V6 in the CR-V and call it a day already. Jack & Co. will tell us just how bad this thing really looks in a matter of minutes.

If that's the case, they will fail there as well as the Outback will destroy this thing.

Yes.

Do they offer an option to de-uglyfy it yet?

It doesn't need a facelift, it needs to be cancelled. No trim can fix the problem. The body shape is one big turd and the car will always suffer because of this.

I just saw this on www.netcarshow.com and was going to post it, but see it's already been covered.

Yes, THIS is why I have NO CONFIDENCE whatsoever in Honda Design. They have NO CLUE. The last one was panned for being hideously ugly, so what do they come up with in the following years? Practically the same damned thing which is STILL UGLY!

Even GM was smart enough to KILL the Aztek. This is beyond sad.

I was lucky enough to given a preview of the new concept. I was told I can't share them until they offically debut it but since we are friends I will make an exception. So here is the sneak preview pic.
