Stretched Dodge Challenger SRT limo is a prom date's dream ride

Whether you fondly remember your prom or are doing your very best to forget it, something tells us it would have been way better had you arrived in the machine you're about to see in the video after the break. Yes, it's a limo – and what high schooler wouldn't want to get dropped off in a stretched machine – but the real draw is that it's very likely the fastest limo in the lot.

Starting life as a Dodge Challenger SRT8, this blacked-out limo was crafted by LA Custom Coach after four and a half months of bending, stretching and welding. It boasts a completely custom interior done up in a unique black and red scheme along with a 24-inch LED screen and a full bar... but not for those headed to the prom, of course.

Want to procure one for your big day? That might be tricky, as this is said to be the first of its kind. On the upside, though, its owner says it won't be the last.

Not bad. We always had the H2 and the Chrysler 300

limos made for prom are the most uncomfortable ever, lots of people cramming into one limo to keep the cost down, tiny seats.. etc lol

Now I've seen everything.

Not only that, but limos are supposed to ride smooth. Even with a stretched wheelbase, the Challenger SRT has overly-stiff tires and suspension for limo work....but I suspect that was also the case with the stretched Hummer limos.

I've always had caddy, town car, or s class limos for prom. It's amazing how much more the s class was then the other 2 were, only reason we got it was because one of the parents owned a limo company

That slab-side design does not translate well to an extended mid-section. I had an H2 stretch which was amazing. that looked awesome. And of course the Town Cars and Caddys. Some cars translate well to a limo, this does not.

Don't know for sure, but my guess is that it uses either the Cooper S or John Works powerplants, not a standard one.

Meh... everyone gets a limo for prom. I took an 89 Chevy Duelly Crew cab, with a full custom conversion (my boss at the time used it for towing race cars). It was nicer inside, and better kept, than most limos used fro proms, and twice as cool.
