Lexus may have learned from BMW that you can have a firm taught suspension without sacrificing comfort or ride

I still havent driven one but would like to check it out soon. I loved my 3GS but handling was never the strong point

I saw the Lexus test drivers in my office parking lot pulled over taking notes. I took some pics. I liked the front more than I thought I would. I wish I was a test driver. They drive around in new Lexus vehicles all day and stop every so often for gas and some drivers notes. Whenever I see them they have these HUGE white water tanks in all of the seats, obviously to simulate a full car. Dream job

3GS pulled good numbers, but IMHO it was unpredictable... 4GS pulls bigger numbers and you also know whats going on.

Car and Driver compared a GS F-Sport with an Audi A6, and the Audi won, but not by much. I don't necessarily agree with C&D's comments (though I haven't personally sampled a new GS) that the GS transmission needed more gears....six, in most cases, is plenty.

I wonder what percentage of buyers will go with the F sport as opposed to the standard GS

They just stated 25% of so I think which is a pretty good take rate.

it is. but it's also pretty early, and i'd guess the take rate will drop, but it doesn't matter either way, a sale is a sale!

Thanks. Good catch. Looking at the stats carefully, you are correct. They had a base GS, though, that was optioned up pretty close to F-Sport levels, differering mainly in 18" vs. 19" wheels/tires.

no big brakes, no more agressive tires, no more aggressive appearance, nor RWS
