To think Lexus cranked out 552hp out of a 4.8L V10 makes me think a 5.0-6.0L V12 would make some incredible power

Nah if they really want to sell $800K or even $300K car they should break away from the image of selling $35K car and create a separate brand that only markets such cars. Lexus in itself is far from being perceived as exlusive. If I had that kind of money to spend for exclusivity I wouldn't spend it on a lexus

if you could afford to spend 800k on a car...i don't think reliability is very high in your books haha

ferrari is pumping similar hp with the v8 in the 458. v12 is going to be a good challenge with high rev

Will they make it as mid-engine this time?

No reason for another brand. When all the new companies debuted they started racing some crazy expensive cars in the 1920s. Lexus is only 22 years young and their ascension is unreal. Lexus going upmarket is only positive for the brand(s).
