Its not under $30K but the Accord is still pricer..

A Camry XLE V6 will be over $33K w/NAV.

i was talking about cars UNDER $30K because a Honda or Toyota for Over $30K is Ludicrous plus i was comparing prices on their companies website, ofcourse a car a dealership will cost more because you don't know what add'tl pkgs they primp up their cars. Comparing prices on the Honda.com vs Toyota.com is a more accurate assessment then a dealer pricing..

Actually,I buy from that Toyota dealer and those numbers are sticker number.
The NAV Camry allotment to my area must have certain options too.
Both Honda and Toyota price their Accords and Camry models very close to each other.

Honda models come 3-4 ways(EX,EX-L,EX-L w/NAV)with no options except for dealer accessory installs.

I agree on the over $30k number.
Both the Camry and Accord are discounted very well here, though. The Camry $250-$500 over invoice with haggling. The Accord invoice and maybe under with the new design coming in '13.

Go on Honda.com and Build a Civic EX-L Loaded $24,395 and then go to Toyota.com and build a comparable car the Corolla LE Loaded $20,785..

The Accord EX-L which is their car right under $30K is price at $28,445 vs the comparable Toyota Camry LE with Leather is $25,334..

I suggest you price shop and get an understanding of where pricing is instead of speculating what you think.. yeah, the cars is in the same price range but like i said the Honda's are the PRICEST of this car class.. When you POST, have proof instead of speculating.. Thanx Good day!
Touch a sore spot for the Honda hater, did we? First, as already mentioned in this thread, a fully loaded Accord comes in at a MSRP below the Camry, so you're wrong, there. Second, A Civic starts at $15,995 where as a Corolla starts at $16,130, so you're wrong again. A fully loaded civic runs a bit higher than a Corolla, but wait a minute, you can't even get leather in a Corolla.
Oh, by the way, yes, I've been inside Hondas, I'm currently driving my 13th so Don't tell me I don't have experience with Honda value, quality, reliability and resale value, I am the 99%. The materials used in the Accord have always been a notch above its competition, except possibly, the 1992 Camry. Hondas pricing amongst all of their cars is competitive to their competition, they are in no way "pricier". Get *your* facts straight. There's a very legitimate reason why Accord has the highest resale value in its class and has been named C&D 10 best 26 times. That's more accolades than any other car in history. They must be doing something right.

Guys knock off the personal commentary and keep this thread about the vehicles, not the people posting in the thread.

Honda's designs may suck as hell (outside of the Accord coupe), but their reputation for reliability and quality are unquestioned.

And their high resale value is easily seen if you just browse around the different car brand websites and check out the certified used cars prices. Honda's used cars are ridiculously expensive. You might as well buy brand new.

Hondas definitely hold their value well. The reason I ended up getting a Lexus in the first place was because I couldn't justify spending a lot of money on a used Accord or Civic when I could buy an older Lexus or BMW for the same price.

All of that negative reporting on Toyota and Lexus, whether it was justified or not (I myself have mixed-feelings on that issue) obviously hasn't helped their resale-values any.

Except those who can afford to drop 50k on a used LS600 are orgasming all the way to the bank, while used ILX buys are stuck with a miserable POS.

Any discussion of Toyota pricing MUST include the "options" that you can't get out of when the send their allotment to whatever area of the country you live in. I don't know what they put on the Camry--on the Highlander it was floor mats (seriously, on a Limited???) and tow prep. Honda doesn't play those games.
