Default Your opinions on a sub $100k sports car/sporty coupe

Its about that time again. I'm itching for a new car. Set my limit at $100k for a fun, fast sporty NEW car, but it certainly doesnt have to be that expensive. Heck, I even considered the new Subaru BRZ for a minute. I don't really have any requirements for it. It will be primarily a weekend car that will be taken on mountain drives with friends and such. It may even see some track duty. Some days it will be driven to work or the grocery store. Cars I have been considering are...
E92 m3: maybe a little too common. Must be revved high to "feel" the power cuz it lacks torque, but a good all around car with nice interior.
2013 gt500: 650 hp and 600 lb-ft torque intrigues me.
Z06: performance. Interior and seats
2013 Viper: need more info on msrp and availability but it looks good
And the car that is at the top of my list right now,2013 GT-R, updated with 545 hp. This car seems to defy physics considering its size and weight. Maybe not as "fun" to drive with the computers doing all the work. I know cars are not investments but resale values on GTR's are pretty good.
I can't believe I'm considering an American vehicle, let alone one from each of the big three US manufacturers
What other cars would you guys consider? Not interested in any Porsches or Mercedes'. I'm asking here, because this seems to be the most mature crowd of all the car forums I visit, without all the fan boys.

You say fun, I say Porsche, you say no I say Corvette!

All previous Vipers are fun for about 30 minutes then you want to get out & take a break, they are track toys only.

looks like he already has a 2010 GT3

And as for the Viper, this new one is much more refined so it won't beat you up like its predecessors did.

New Boster S should be fun and practical. Mustang Boss302 isn't bad either.

I say no to Porsches because I already have the 997.2 gt3. I am keeping it ( for a long time, or at least until the 991 gt3). I wouldn't trade it for any of the cars on my list.

If you have the space, the ability, and the time, have you thought about building your own? If not, check out the Factory Five GTM: http://www.factoryfive.com/kits/gtm-supercar/

I would go with the new GT-R. You can't go wrong, and for the price, you get a whole lot of engineering (and fun )

Hmm... You already have a gt3 for handling and driving fun, so I would say get one with all out speed! Gt500, Z06 are good. Just put in some better seats in the vette.

That would likely be my route. Exotic body, reliable Corvette performance platform, and the opportunity to do the interior the way it should really be done to your liking. I'm biased though since I plan to use my C6 for a GTM eventually.

Here's cars on my radar:

GTR
991 Carrera S
Camaro ZL1 (I think that's what it's called)
S5
Gran Turismo

and leading the pack - XKR

The XKR is perfect for me. I love it's dual personality. It is easily a luxury grand tourer. It is just as easily a beast with 510 hp and cat-like handling on demand.
Love the long sleek hood and short tear deck.

Your taste seem similar so maybe think about the Jag.

After hearing \ viewing a Super Snake on the road, that gets my vote.

No particular order and with 2013 Porsche Boxster S out:

Z06 Carbon
2013 Shelby Cobra GT500- GO DRIVE IT
Boss 302 Laguna Seca
2010 Aston Martin Vantage

Jaguar XKR- thought about for a minute or so... that's how long it took to break down
