*UPDATE: We've received an official press release from Ford quoting power figures of 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque, making the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500's engine the most powerful production V8 in the world. Ford is also keen to point out that the 2013 GT500 is one mpg more fuel efficient, both city and highway, than the 2012 model and five mpg better than the Camaro ZL1.

do you care anything at all about MPG or if it had a Gas Guzzler tax ($1000ish) if you're buying this car...?

S tempting to say the least...but in reality this is just a way to say goodbye to this generation... still is heavy, cheap in some places, and lacks the agility of other cars though... but I bet anyone that experiences that power would have something else to say about that

Again, there it is!!!!
Dr D: For your next car- you already have a Porsche, so why not a hairy- knuckled, tire-destroying, 662-HP, 630 lbs torque is my new chiropractor... American muscle BEAST...
I remember when I had my Mustang GT a few years ago modified to "only" 290HP... if I was having a bad day, it was gone before I got out of the parking lot... with THIS... all I'd have to do is drop the clutch... maybe just start it and listen...
Driving reviews have been stellar... my ONLY concern now is heat soak issue and if they've addressed and satisfied
In a perfect world, I would drive a Lexus RX450h as daily driver, this WOULD be my play car![Cool](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
