I was gonna get one until i found out these are $$$$ to fix and maintain and they got lots of problems.
It's not an M-car, but my 2000 E46 is the most trouble-free car I've ever dealt with (friends, family, or self-owned). Cost me roughly $5k over 12 years, including tires, brakes, and oil changes. Well, not counting the $900 for the Android-based nav system, but that was totally on me. The factory CD player still worked fine.
