^^ really? that was a huge disaster. After the IS300 sport wagon, I don't see lexus taking that risk anytime soon. And if it is going to be anything like that old model, I wouldnt want them to

I think Lexus could pull off a great IS 350 sportwagon. The 2IS style is up to par so I believe the 3IS will be awesome with the new spindle grill. Throw in an awd version and I think Lexus could have a hit with the IS sportwagon to go against the BWM 3 series wagon and Audi A4 wagon. The 3IS variant lineup could have alot of potential if Lexus brought to market:
IS 250/350 Sedan
IS 250/350 Coupe (fixed hardtop)
IS 250/350 Convertible
IS 250/350 Sportcross (wagon)
IS 300h
IS 200d
IS F

There's so little interest in wagons here in the U.S. that mfgrs. go out of their way to call them everything but a wagon.
IMO it's good they sell in Europe and some of the brands still offer them here. Maybe in time they'll catch on again here.

That's correct. The CT 200h is a luxury hybrid four door hatchback.
A wagon is basically a sedan or stretched sedan with a d pillar which has a lower center of gravity. Obviously not as tall as an SUV (sports utility vehicle).
