Default Which is better IS350 vs GS350

I currently have a G35x I'm looking to buy a 2007 Lexus but I'm not sure which one is better. The only thoughts I have about them is that the IS seems really small but maybe it's not? Anyway, tell me which one you like more AND why but please don't just say "they're completely different animals."

Isn't that much bigger unless you're stuck in the back

About 3 months ago I would have said GS no question, but after really thinking about it, I am also not sure. My main concern was space, I'm 6'3 so leg room is important to me. However in the IS directly behind me there is no leg room, but in the GS it may have a tiny bit more. Then I think again that 97% of the time no one is in the back anyways. The reason I mention this is if you have kids or want to be able to fit a child seat in the back, it is a concern maybe.
Driving experience with the 2, I don't have but this should change by tomorrow.

IS is sportier, GS is bigger and more luxurious... IS trunk is actually more usable than GS, but GS has A LOT more leg space at the back.

is350 way more fun to drive than gs350!
is350 has cramped back seat, but gs350 (that year) ain't rockin' either.
is interior a bit plain but i don't like the silver/reflectiony/whatever 3gs guages.

of those two i'd get the is. the 3gs just doesn't do much for me.

I used to have a 2004 330i which was too small for me. Do you know how the IS compares to an e46 BMW?

If the G35x is paid off and not costing you anything but upkeep maintenance then that is the best car but I would go with the GS350 over the IS but Im a larger individual and the GS feel like a glove, so in comparison I enjoyed the interior room on the ES350 cause it was roomier

The car is paid off and I will be paying cash for my next one as well. The only thing that worries me is that the G has just over 100k now.

Pretty much wipes the floor with it in reliability, intuitiveness, luxury, better fuel economy, performance of the 350 - power/torque - assuming your not talking about the M. All it needs are a nice set of F-sport sway bars and she'll handle superbly.

Looks are subjective so that's up to the driver

Again though the best thing to do is to test drive one to see if you like it.

In reality, you will find BOTH to be a bit of a confine for us larger individuals. Between the 2, that I have experienced and driven, I would go GS. Both are sport minded, and will seem somewhat cramped at first seating. It took me a few minutes to adjust to the GS, but it felt quite good once settled in. In the IS, I felt cramped, seemed as if I couldnt adjust/lower the seat enough to get comfy, and even after maxing out the seat adjustments, it just wasnt comfortable for me. Long trips in the IS woud have worn me out because of this. In the GS, I took a 250 mile day trip and was surprised at how much I like it after settling in. For the record, am a big guy myself ( 6',,275,,built like a linebacker). Best advice, as given, test drive them both for yourself.

I think the IS350 is the better car. With the GS, there is something about it that seems off that I just don't like.
