Default Ferrari 599 GTO fatal crash with Taxi (somewhat graphic)

very very sad.... and the video is too much

SINGAPORE - An accident involving a Ferrari, a taxi and a motorcycle has left three dead and two others injured.

The crash occurred in the wee hours of Saturday at the junction of Rochor Road and Victoria Street.

Witnesses say that the Ferrari crashed into a taxi when it ran a red light, causing the taxi to hit a passing motorcycle.

The impact was so hard that the taxi's engine was found 30m away from the vehicle, reported Shin Min Daily News.

The accident location is said to be a black spot with six accidents occurring over the past 12 days.

Police and SCDF received calls about the accident at about 4.15am.

Drivers of both vehicle were trapped and had to be extricated by SCDF personnel.

The Ferrari driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics. Shin Min Daily News reported that the driver was 31-year-old Chinese businessman Ma Chi.

The female passenger in the Ferrari, in her 20s sustained head injuries.

The motorcyclist, in his 20s, sustained spinal injuries.

All three of them were sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

The cab driver in his 40s sustained head injuries and died at the hospital a few days later.

The taxi's passenger, a woman in her 20s, was found unconscious and died at the Singapore General Hospital, reported The Straits Times.

Fatal accident is always sad, I don't feel bad for the driver of the Ferrari though because he is 100% at fault. No one deserve to die, but he is certainly asking for it.

Let's see the facts.

31 years old male driving a $600k USD Ferrari at 4am, thinking he is larger then life, invincible. Coming out of a karaoke bar with a 20 years old escort prostitute hostess girl, on the way to the hotel to have sex to cheat on his pregnant wife. Driving drunk at very high speed running a red light without wearing his seatbelt, killing 3 people and injuring a few others.

Oh yeah, I got zero sympathy for this dude.

At least he got punished by dying, if he survived, he would just pay off everything and do it again like nothing happened.

Geez, that was a hard hit. Did it say the cause of the Ferrari driver going that fast? Probably drunk and trying to show off to his girlfriend?

She is in denial, pretend it is not true.

Nothing matters now, she got all his money and life goes on.

I feel bad for all the innocent people who got killed or injuried, and that beautiful 599 GTO that got destroyed.

Jeezzzz take a look at the picture of the interior of the taxi after the impact, holy

I feel terrible for them, and RIP to the 2 innocent people that died inside the taxi.
People shouldn't ever have to die at the hands of others who make poor choices.

No one deserve to die, but if you want to die, don't take innocent people with you.

He didn't want to die, he was just asking for punishment. And his punishment was death.

If he would just wear his seatbelt, he would have live. And of course don't drive drunk or drive carefully. He got noone to blame but himself.

I feel sad for the 53-year old taxi driver as well as the 20 year old Japanese student. Both dead when they arrived at the ER.

However, I read the article again and what was shocking was there was a stranger who went to the scene but did not help the Japanese girl at all. Instead, the dude stole 300 Singapore dollars from her wallet and fled the scene.

Really disgusting behavior for a human being to go to such low (i.e. no sense of morality)

It appears that this accident has exposed a feeling of irritation in Singapore at the immigration of wealthy expats like the Chinese, inflating property prices and occasionally causing trouble like this sad case of deadly negligence.

It's always and very sad that innocent lives were taken by reckless driving. Being done by an alleged rich douchebag only makes it worse for the victims and aggravates the society's response.
