If she is attractive to ME, then yes(with no shoes, only socks or bare foot ) please put anything you want on the dash lol As far as my guy friends, they respect my car as much as they know I do. But girls! come on!

Absolutely not okay. Scuffing up someone else's property is rude and disrespectful. If someone can't respect another, he/she isn't much of a friend.

It is dangerous to place your feet up near the airbag. If the airbag deploys, there is great risk of spinal cord compression which could lead to paralysis or incontinence (i.e. cannot control the release of your bodily wastes) if the nerves within the spinal cord are damaged. That is obviously much worse than facial bruising if the airbag hits the face.

i can care less what THEY think, it's my damn car so it's my rules

it's nothing different from going to people's place and they ask you to take off your shoes or not sit on their beds

I used to do it as a teenager on long trips in the family minivan. If I was riding up front, I would recline my seat back, throw my feet on the dash, and pass out. I like to stretch out, and I feel real sore after riding a couple hours in a car without stretching......

Also, the van didn't have passenger side airbags :P

I just told her that its safer not to put your feet against the airbag unit and what if I brake suddenly? I also told her I can get a ticket for that (can you? will the police stop you?)
Anyway I noticed I few people doing this more in the U.S...I just think its not a safe Idea.

I was not distracted by her legs I was more concerned about her safety.

Your car, your rules. Simple as that. When I skipper a sailboat, I set the rules. I don't care if other skippers allow crew to do things. These are the rules and if you don't like them, stay on the dock. Just replace skipper with drive, sailboat with car, and dock with curb and you're set.

First it's the legs on the dash, then she's leaning on your car ... best to nip it from the start.

It's generally rude to lift your legs and place your feet on other people's furniture, especially if it's not a close family member. I saw this once at my manager's desk at work, and it was shocking and irritating that a subordinate would do that.

Besides, it's even unsafe. My wife likes to do it but I remind her of the dangers from time to time. Sometimes I forget to remind her when..........never mind, been said already.
