Hey guys just the other day me and a friend where driving and she puts her feet on my dash board (passenger side). I am like wtf?....I told her please don't do that and put your feet down.
She got offended and said she has done it before with other friends and they did not mind.
I just told her that its safer not to put your feet against the airbag unit and what if I brake suddenly? I also told her I can get a ticket for that (can you? will the police stop you?)
Anyway I noticed I few people doing this more in the U.S...I just think its not a safe Idea.
I was not distracted by her legs I was more concerned about her safety.
(i Just noticed I posted in the wrong forum, mods please correct error..thanks)

I hate it when people put their feet up on my dash too. I don't care if your barefoot....nobodies feet belong on my dash! lol And on top of that - it blocks my view of the side view mirror and you can imagine what would happen if the passenger airbag went off with someones feet right on the dash like that.

I would not allow it. I don't allow smoking or eating in my car either. My car, my rules. ...but I agree, the practice is totally unsafe if there was an accident. Just think about that seat belt retracting and airbags deploying assuming the passenger is where they are SUPPOSED to be, not slunched down in the seat some way or other. Saw a young lady doing a variation of this in a car by me the other day with bare feet out the window -- I couldn't tell if her seatbelt was on or not.. I was hoping a bee or some other object would strike her foot ... Bet she wouldn't do it again after that.

Your car, your rules. Who cares if others were ok with it?
With shoes on - hell no
With socks/bare feet... doable as long as they aren't nasty.![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If she wants to put on a show... well, good luck keeping your eyes on the road.
