I love my '12 ES w/UL pkg.The only minor negative is the color keyed satellite antenna box on the trunk due to the glass pano roof.
At the NY Auto Show there was a '13 ES w/UL in my color combo and it still has the box on the trunk.
I guess it must be too expensive to have the antenna somewhere else like in Mercedes and others do with their pano roofs.
I would think the box installed in the rear window deck would work, maybe not.

The perfect time to do it IMO.

Maybe, it is a pre production model? I don't understand why the XM radio and telematics antenna can't be combined into one like other models? ![Confused](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
I wish, Toyota and Lexus would improve their XM modules, they are still stuck with the 16 character limit on XM from years ago while XM is now at 32 characters or higher with other car companies

For '07, some S Class had the shark fin for Sirius (early builds) then others like the silver car had the oval ones. They fixed it in 2008.
The SL/SLK class still have it on the trunk due to the roof...

One would think that Lexus would be ahead of the curve on this one since they love to talk about how techie their cars are, and they are in many ways. I'm sure it's not that engineering intensive to add telematics antennas.
I get the feeling sometimes that Lexus don't pay that much attention to the audiophile. One thing I would love to see is the ability to down load songs to a hard drive for later playback like GM and others have had for at least 4 years now. Lexus are you listening??.....lol
