Default Feedback on Lemon Squad Inspection Service, anyone?

Hello Everybody,

Does anyone have any experience with the Lemon Squad Inspection company? They specialize in inspecting vehicles for buyers..I just spoke to a real nice guy named Andy who answered the 800 number and walked me through the process. They are Nationwide..looks like a pretty good deal for $149 and they provide full report with pics. Plus they go to the sellers location..nice! I tried a search and didn't pull much from our fellow members here, thanks all!

i don't know what vehicle you looking at, but i am not sure if they know exactly all the details to look for?

for bmw, mb, porsche, audi (at least i know of), you can ask to have cars brought to dealership and perform ppi (pre-purchase inspection)

I don't have the luxury of being in the same state as the vehicle, so a service like this seems perfect...take a look at the sample report http://www.lemonsquad.com/sampleview...n.php?id=10158

actually what happens is buyer will ask the seller to bring the car to xxx dealership to have ppi done, and buyer will remotely pay for the ppi as well as getting the report.

Well, i started down that path but haven't received a call back from the dealership. i assume that if folks want to sell their car, they will take the time to go over there. If not, they could be hiding something. My only concern with the dealer is they are in the business of making money, especially when it comes to service but I suppose the manufacturer dealer would be the best to know for sure..thanks

Sorry to bump an old thread. But I am looking into buying a used Lexus IS-F from a dealership that is 10+ hours away from me. The vehicle has a clean CarFox and AutoCheck but better safe than sorry. For Private Party Inspections at a dealership, what should I expect in terms of charges? Sorry new to buying used cars.
