I too amazed at the 7 year crime receiving a 6 year sentence....whiskey tango foxtrot?

People have gotten away with much worse over a longer period of time....eg, Bernie Madoff.

And isn't 6 yrs "prison terms" equal 3 years actual time stays in jail? Somewhere I read they count day and night in prison time.

Not sure how it works state to state, but here while they are in jail during or waiting for trial it counts as 2 days. So if you are planning on taking a deal, it makes sense to post pone your trial to a later date. Sit in jail for some time and then plea guilty. Hence alot of sentencing includes time served. So if I was sentenced to 10 years and sat in jail for 5(X2) waiting trial, etc then I would be released on time served. Also here in canada, ontario to be specific if your cell or range is overcrowded or gets put on lock down and it was NOT something you did directly they actually count your days served as 3, so thats times 3.
Our wonderful legal system for you.

cut out the dealers.

Sell the cars direct to the public like other countries.

Total garbage the car dealers BRIBED congress to protect their uneeded middle man busnesses. Let them eat cake, like realtors, other unecessary scum.

I agree to some extent. But don't forget that dealerships, across the country, employ a lot of people....managers, ad-marketers, sales-personnel, buisness-office people, mechanics/technicians, washers/detailers, body-shop personnel, janitors, maintenance-people, office-clerks, secretaries/receptionists, phone-operators, and many others. To put all these people out of buisness would add a heck of a lot to the already-inflated unemployment rolls here.....assuming, of course, that they couldn't find jobs somewhere else.

Buying the Crosstour was genius. Everyone automatically looks the other way.

A neighbor of mine bought one some months ago. He just loves it....but not necessarily for that reason.
