Sure, the 2013 LS is prettier, but has it got any new oomph or tech to compete with its rivals?
- Blind Spot Warning/Intervention
- Around View Parking Cameras
- Distance Control Assist
- Night Vision with Dynamic Light Spot
- Advanced Voice Recognition (i.e., set destination by saying name of POI)
- Building Scale Maps
- Navigation Voice that sounds more like a person and less like a computer
- Valet Mode
- etc.
Or how about more powerful engine? 4.6 liters w/380 HP & 3367 lb-ft torque is getting old. I'm tired of my neighbor's $62,000 Infiniti M56 beating me off the line with its 420 HP and 417 lb-ft torque engine.![Mad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
If the LS is truly a leap ahead, I'll be visiting my dealership come Christmas!

I am very curious what their powertrain strategy is. The current V8 is very advanced for a naturally aspirated V8. Only 2 places to go from here - Forced Induction or more displacement. The latter will improve performance but may cause them to drop in gas guzzler territory.

I wish Lexus had kept the traditional grill for the standard models and used the "spindle" for the "F" models. Looking at the regular ones, it just doesn't look right. Also the "F" models should come with more power. Afterall BMW's M, Audi's RS and Mercedes AMG all come with more powerful engines.

It's not a true "F" it's fsport. Which is completely different than the F you see on the isf or LFA . Fsport is basically stiffer suspension with multiple cosmetics changes inside out. Like a sportier grille, dark graphite times, different interior change, etc. I think BMW also has m sport packes of I'm not mistaken. Which is completely different than their M line. Which is why the fsport models for Lexus doesn't have extra power than the normal versions.
