Amazing. That could have gone so much worse, the driver is very fortunate. Had a co-worker riding his Harley on a turnpike at 35 mph and a car over-reacted from a box falling off a truck and he had to dump it quick. Broke 4 ribs an a collar bone and totalled the bike as well.

He was lucky he didn't react or see the deer coming. Seems like that is why he made it through that. If he tried to to avoid he probably would have dropped the bike during that speed wobble. I feel like people upset at him for hitting the deer should go on the freeway and collect all the bugs off of it. Why not be upset people are hitting way more butterflies and such than deer.

First, yes, he is damn lucky....which is more than I can say for the deer. Over and above that, though, it shows two things. First, how important is is to keep one's speed down. Two, how well Suzuki builds a bike.
