ES250 wins.

No. Least reliable would have to be the post-2006 GS300/350AWD. It is the only American-market Lexus-badged vehicle I know of to be listed by Consumer Reports with worse-than-average reliability several years in a row.

The CT200h, if it continues its excellent reliability record in the future (It's been on the road only a couple of years), may be a good candidate in the future for Most Reliable Lexus.

The ES250 wins, it was a Camry with a nicer interior. And mechanically those cars were simply the best, maybe the best Toyota has ever built with the exception of some of their pickups that cannot be killed under any circumstances.
People don't like to admit the ES250 was a Lexus but it had the L logo on it.

The most reliable Lexus, probably the LFA, with the attention to detail and extreme high level of build quality, it should for the most past be as reliable as a 90's or early 2000 Lexus that could go the distance

I don't think any car can be as reliable as past Lexus and Toyota vehicles. The increased complexity alone is an automatic disadvantage. Look at the Hilux Top Gear tried to destroy, the truck was a diesel so no ignition system to damage, no computers to worry about, minimal wiring to short out. Put a new Lexus in the ocean, set it on fire, no way it runs after that.

From what I've researched, the early LS's were tops. ES would come in second. I agree, the CT is going to be tops too. For modern cars, the Pruis has gotten near perfect marks for years now. Since the two are very similar, the CT should reap the same benefits.
While on topic, it's interesting to note the most reliable cars tend to be older cars that have been around long enough to have some sort of reputation. This is true even when a newer car has less problems than an older car. In the equation, a figure or factor must be accounted for to represent an age curve. I'm sure there's a chart out there somewhere.

The 1-LS has the miles to prove the build and design quality the at Toyota aimed for. The 430 is now coming into that range but time will tell how many we see in 20+ years on the roads.

I had 2007 GS350 AWD and we at forums could never figured out why... because CR ratings were due to things like sound system, which was exactly the same as in every other 2007 GS.
