I agree.
They should leave this mallfinder for the morono and keep the pathfinder for the 4runner fighter.

Murano is a 5 seater. This new Pathfinder is a 7 seater. Many are saying they should have retired the Pathfinder name and possibly called this a Murano XL or whatever.

Criticize them all you want for turning it into a Mallfinder. But Nissan is being smart. They were lacking a 7 seater crossover in their line-up, and this type of car sells well. They are also pricing it aggressively. I think it will steal some sales from the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot.

BTW, the people over on the Infiniti JX35 forums are pissed that the new Pathfinder is so nice. And it has the new improved version of the CVT that is in the JX.
