Lincoln MKT Town Car to get 2.0-liter EcoBoost

Yup, Limos. Here in the NYC area the roads are covered with cars with Livery plates, and most of them are Lincoln Town Cars. I have yet to see an MKT with Livery plates on it. Not to say there aren't any but I haven't seen one and I live 6 miles from the GWB.

To be fair the versions of the 4.6L V8 in the Mustang and Explorer were both paired with 5 and 6 speed automatic transmissions so "such unicorns" do exists

If you really want to be fair, you can't really say a 239hp (190hp until the last few years) engine and a 315hp engine are the same thing, even if they do share a block. I stand by my statement about the unicorns.

As to the question about relative smoothness compared to the V8, remember this version is for livery use so the owners care more about operating expense than driver satisfaction. So long as there is adequate power and the passengers don't feel or hear any roughness they don't care.
The same little turbo 4 is used in the Edge and it does a good job with little noise or vibration.
There are a couple of very high end resorts/spas here in Tucson using MKTs to transport guests so I guess they're adequately roomy and luxurious.

You replied and quoted a post about whether or not customers used to v8s in towncars would accept a turbo 4 in one. Your response to said post was that 8 is smoother than 4. So while no, you did not explicitly string that sentence together, it was relatively clear from your response, unless you did not read the post you were quoting.
