No doubt about it, i even mentioned earlier that there is no chance that this will have much of an effect on 3 series sales. 3-series have the reputation and a following that will make it damn near impossible to beat. But for people out there looking for a rwd smaller sporty sedan, this may be another viable option if the person is not too hung up on brands. But if you're gonna enter a segment, why not aim for the top dog?

It was just a matter of time. Hyundai has been in hot persuit of every popular segment. The sport-luxury entry level position is the perfect area to attack next. If I were running a new(er) car company, these would be the niches I'd be after.
